DEPARTURES. SBPTEMBER. 26th—Omapere, Capt. Mclntosh, for Auckland. Only through passengers went from here. The U.S.S. Company's new steamer Omapere, Capt. Mclntosh, arrived in the Bay this morning, about 5.30 o'clock. The passengers and mails were brought ashore by the lifeboat about 7 o'clock. We gave a description of this very pretty boat in our issue of Wednesday last. We may state that she quite comes up to that description, and is a perfect model. Mr A. Macmeikan, the courteous agent of the U.S.S. Company who relieved Mr A. I). Fraser on a recent auspicious occasion, is rhe purser of the Omajtere, and we do not think the office could be placed in better hands. IMPORTS.
