SHIPPING.
The U.S.S. Company's Arawata is expected to arrive here from Auckland to-morrow. The last boat will leave the wharf for the steamer at 5 p.m. The schooner Annie Wilson, from Umaru to Auckland, put into the Bay yesterday weatherbound. There was a heavy N.E. wind blowing outside. She cleared out of the Bay early this morning. The ketch Wild Duck, which cleared for the North yesterday was a 1 so weatherbound, and had to put back. She, however, succeeded in getting out of the Bay at R o’clock this morning. At the present time there is very little water on the bar, there being only about sft lin. The s.s. Oreti arrived at Auckland from Gisborne at 4 p.m. yesterday. She is expected to leave there at 5 o’clock this afternoon, and may be expected on Saturday, when she will return to Auckland direct.
