Out of a possible 105 points, 103 were recently made in a Volunteer competition at Avonmouth, Bristol, by Corporal Lerway, of the local Engineer Corps. This is believed to be the highest score on record. Lerway had seven shots at 200, 500 and 600 yards, scoring 35 points at tho first, and 34 at each of the other two.
