[Beuter’b Telegrams.] SYDNEY, September 12. The health of Sir Henry Parkes has not improved and his medical attendants will not allow him to be moved in his present condition. The brilliancy of the comet has considerably increased and is now distinctly visible shortly before dawn. The strike amongst the men in the iron trade is extending. Employers uniformly declare to accede to the demands of the meu for an increased rate of wages.. MELBOURNE, Sept. 12. In the Legislative Assembly this evening Mr J. B. Patterson in referring to the proposed Irish immigration to the Colonies gave, notice that he would bring a motion before the House to the effect that it was not desirable to encourage the introduction of such class of immigrants.
