ARRIVAL S. SEPTEMBER. 12th.—M ild Duck, ketch, Captain Phipps, from Kennedy's Bay, Thauics
IMPORTS. Per Wild Duck—2B,3oo feet of timber consigned to Messrs McConnachie and Flatt.
Captain Phipps, of the ketch Wild Duck, reports that he left' Kennedy’s Bay o:i Satu "day afternoon, and was becalmed yesterday’ at the East Caj>e. Subsequently a N. W. bteeze sprang up, and he arrived in the Bay this morning about 5 o'clock. It is expected that the Wild Duck will be towed into the river tomorrow, and take up her berth at the wharf, where she will discharge her cargo. This vessel has not been here for manj* years. The U.S.S.'Cb?B Manapouri arrived at Auckland at 4.30 p.m. yesterday, from Gisborne.
The schooner Lightning is hourly expected from the Bay of Islands, with a cargo of -coal consigned to Messrs Graham and Co., for the consumption of the engine working on the Oxenham contract.
