There were no cases at the Resident Magistrate’s Court this morning. We feel assured that with ourselves very many of the townspeople of Gisborne will regret the departure of Mr. John Hislop who for ionw time past has noted as manager of the Masonic Hotel. rfis geniality, good humor, and general Loh homie have gained him many friends who wijl always be gia-l to |iea«* that he may hgve east his lot he will prosper.
