The tug boat Lioness is ashore on end of the protective works. She went out to tow a vessel in, but being unable to reach her through the force of the gale, was coming back and got across the bar when the wind and current combined slswed her right round and landed her broadside on the rocks. It is almost certain she will become a wreck. The Company insure their own vessels.
