[Reutkk’s Telegbams.] MELBOURNE. Aug. 29. Sir Julius Vogel left here to-day for Sydney. It is probable however that he wil return to this city at an early date. This Day. In the Legislative Assembly last night, the discussion on the Licensees’ Qualifying Bill was resumed. Sir Bryan O’Lognlen moved that the amendment of the Legislative Council, with a few minor alterations, be agreed to. After debate the motion was agreed to on division by 39 to 22. The Orient steamers have resumed their route through the Suet Canal for the homeward voyages.
