SHIPPING.
ARRIVALS. AUGUST. 29th.—Oreti, s.s., Captain a. Campbell, from Napier. Passengar: Mr Baker. The Oreti entered the Bay at half-past 5 o’clock this morning. She sails for Auckland this afternoon, having on board 300 sheep from G. Bruce; 100 sheep and 13 cattle, E. Cameron ; 28 hides, and 30 sacks grass seed, D. M. Orr. The Oreti could not be tendered until late in the day, owing to the heavy southerly sea, but the mails and passengers were landed early. The Columbia, schooner, was beating about the Bay this morning, in consequence of the heavy sea running from the southward. The Gisborne, schooner. Captain J. H. Skinner, crossed the bar yesterday, and is now berthed at the wharf, discharging the remainder of her cargo. | IMPORTS. Per Oreti, from Napier—2s sacks chaff, Hislop; 1 case beer, A. Brown; 3 cases fish, J. East; 10 cases kerosene, D. M. Orr.
