Mr E. Woon notifies that ho has a large sum of money to lend on approved securities in sums of £lOO and upwards. Mr Woon undertakes the negotiation of loans on freehold mortgages on most liberal terns. The application made by Mr W. L. Rees to the Supreme Court tor an injunction to restrain Mr Bamford, the Registrar in Napier under the Land Transfer Act, from issuing a certificate of title in pursuance of a sale by Ema Mai tai and others to Robert Cooper, of Waingaromia No. 2 Block, containing 28,750 acres, afterwards transferred by Mr Cooper to the Glasgow Bank, was to-day dismissed with costs against the applicant. This is the case where Mr Rees petitioned the House in Ema Maitai’s name, and asked that, the crown grant ehoujd nqt be issued to Mr Cooper, ThU was one pf those top tpo many forgery eases so constantly emanating from Mr Rees' office. The ma'ter also oame before the Native Landa Court, where very strong allegations were made, but evidently not credited, and then, as a last but feeble not that any one in Ins common senses resort, the present proceedinns were instituted, eould expect a Judge of a Supreme Court to grant an injunction on such twaddle and absurd statements as wo are Informed are contained, in what purports to be a declaration, and which we have little doubt upon •lenmrrer (us is the case in all these ridiculous actions) will be adjudged pirau.
