The Burdett-Howe Company passed Gisborne by the s.s. Te Anau yesterday morning for Auckland. The Wellington papers wish Mr Willis, who has secured the troupe, a pleasant voyage, and lumps of luck. Miss Jenny Nye, an old Gisborne favorite, is one of the Company. While the steamer was dischargeing her cargo in Napier, Mr E. Ashton came on board, and endeavoured to secure the Company for a short season in that town, but as terms could not be ar* ranged, the negotiation fell through.
