[Reuter’s Telegrams.] MELBOURNE. This Day. Messrs. C. G. Ross and Co. of this city report sales of kauri pine, ex Estelle, at the following average prices per 150 feet:— Super-sawn flitches, 17s 6d; sawn boards, 1 inch, 19s 3d ; ditto, to 3 inch, 19s 6d ; dressed ditto, inch, 23s 6d ; ditto, inch, 21s per 100 feet lineal; T. and P. flooring, 4xll, 9s 3d ; ditto, 4xl|, 8s 9d. The market is weakening.
SYDNEY. Aug. 25. The debate on the Address in Reply was concluded this evening. The address was voted on division by by a majority of 48. ADELAIDE. This Day. Handy iron vessels are now being enquired for the Cape. BRISBANE This Day. The Queensland Government has accepted the tender of Messrs O’Rorke ami McSharay for the construction of a railway line to Mount Esk, a distance of 19 miles. The amount of the tender is £42,200.
