HOLY TRINITY CHURCH.

A meeting of the Parishioners of Holy Trinity Church was held last evening, the Rev. J. Hill occupying the chair. The following resolutions were proposed and earned.

Proposed by Mr Fisher, and seconded by Mr Feaxin, “ That it is <’esi. J>le that a parsonage be immediately erected, and that the parishioners will uphold the hands of the vestry in taking steps to bring about that object.” Carried. Proposed by Mr DeLautour, and seconded by Mr Mathews, “That this meeting desires to express its sense of the generosity shewn by the Rev. S. Williams in offering to give the Sections Nos. 152 and 153, adjoining the Church, as a site for a parsonage, and gratefully accepts the same, undertaking, on behalf of the parishioners, to find such means as may be necessary to comply with the terms suggested in Mr Williams’s letter. ”

Proposed by Mr E. K. Brown, and seconded by Mr Fisher, “That the Vestry be authorised by this meeting to set aside the sum of £lOO as a nucleus for building the parsonage.” Mr Fisher moved, and Mr Woon seconded, “That in view of the Rev.' J. Hill leaving this parish before the time of the Easter offerings, this meeting would commend to the Vestry the consideration of the treatment of the offertory on the last Sunday of Mr Hill’s ministrations amongst ua in the same manner as an Easter Day offertory would be dealt with. ” The Ven. Archdeacon Williams concluded the meeting with the benediction.
