[Reuter's Telegrams.] MELBOURNE. August 15. Malting Barley is dull at 5s Id to 5s 3d. Shipping Wheat is weaker, and declined to 6s 9d to 6s lid. New Zealand Oats are sluggish at 3s 6d to 3s 9d for feed, and 3s 8d to 3s 9d for nulling qualities. August 17. In the Legislative Assembly last night a Bill providing for the amalgamation of the legal professions in Victoria, was read a second time on the casting vote of the Speaker. Private telegrams from England report that the hop market will probably open with extreme rates. BRISBANE August 17. In the Legislative Assembly last night the estimates of expenditure came up for consideration when the following votes were passed. For immigration, £250,000 ; for railways, £1,570,000; for defence, £70,000.
