Great is my love for you and the people. 0, People ! greetings to all of you. Thia is my song of love for you. Yonder southern cloud, on which my eyes are fixed like stars. I see thy spirit, 0 Kepa, in my dreams. I I awake thinking you are with me in ' reality. The tears from my eyes flow like water. I must ascend Tamaki that I may see clearly, i Yonder patch of mist overhangs Hikttrangi, beneath which you and one whom I love are. I can only fix my eyes above. You cannot be seen behind yonder ranges. Quickly hitherward fly the clouds. You come from the friend, who is separated from me. I can only greet you from a distance.
