ATTEMPTED MURDER.
A man named Garwood, a tailor, was brought up at the Marylebone Police Court recently, charged with wounding Cecilia Furnell and attempting to murder her. They had cohabited, and the prisoner, on completing a month’s imprisonment for assaulting her, asked her to live with him again, whereupon a quarrel ensued, and he furiously attacked her with a razor, trying to out her throat. He was committed for trial for attempted murder.
