SUPPOSED WRECK
[PER UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION], I nvk hoard ill, This Day. What appears to be a portion of a recent wreck has just been picked up on the beach at the Bluff. They comprise a lower topsail yard of a large ship, and the face of a figure head. The face is that of a woman with flowing hair. Above the farehead there is a large star gilded.
Where the face is broken the wood seemed fresh, as though not separated from the other part of the figure more than three or four months. It is asserted that the wreckage does not belong to any vessel that has been ashore at or ntmr the Bluff, and is possibly portiuns of Aunw missing vessels, Minydun, I/x’h ar others.
