An American advertisement says:—“The action of Little Liver Pills is pleasing, mild and natural. They gently stimulate the liver and regulate the bowels, but do net purge. They are sure to please.” Of course they are. It could only enter intb the head of an American advertiser to think that medicine would please anyone. Great truths are often said in fewest words.
