Prince Krapotkine gave a lecture recently to a Democratic Association in London, on “ The Revolution in Russia." The lecturer said the emancipation of the serfs had been foread upon the late Czar, who had always been on the side of the reactionary party. Oppression had provoked the violence of the revolutionary party. Some doubt has bean out upon ths salary which it is said Madame Patti would receive for singing in America, so Mr Mapleion has coms forward to solemnly state that ths fa* tnous prims donna is engaged to sing twice a week for six months, that she is to receive £917 for each performance, that she is to have S private Pullman oar, fitted up for her entire Suite, and that she will be attended by two cooks and other servants, all at his expense, or ritther ftt that of the American public.
