Green’s Eight Hours’ Bill: — t provides that from and after the Ist f January, 1883, eight hours out of very twenty-four of the legal working ays of the week shall constitute a ■gal day's work “in all occupations lether of a mental or phsical nature." ?hat all work or labor performed in ncess cf this time shall be deemed ivertime, and be paid for at the same ■ate as the ordinary hours of the legal lay, or at such other rate as may be igreed upon between employer and >tnployed.
