THE DEMANDS made upon our space render it necessary that wo shall afford greater facilities for public accommodation. With this object in view wo intend, jon and after— MONDAY the 24th inst., To discontinue our Tri-weekly issue, and make our delut as a— Daily Evening Paper. The doing so is the result of the kindly support which we have met with at the hands of our generous friends, the Public. We have gone to no small expense in procuring Machinery and Plant, which we think, and time will shew, to be thoroughly equal to the demand. Our Jobbing Work needs no PUFF. We are thoroughly prepared to offer work at prices which, while we are content with the remuneration, will not tread harshly on the toes, or pockets, of our constituents. Our demands for subscription will not bo increased, but lessened, aa we intend reducing the price of the paper from 2d. to Id., thus leaving the subscription exactly in tlio same amount as hitherto, while giving SIX papers a week instead of THREE as heretofore. Wo ask no favour, but a fair field, and wo are certain that in this we are only asking what tho sense of fair play common to “ white men ” will accord us. Terms for Advertisements, for Job Printing, and for Printing Work of every description can bo obtained on application. Tho Subscription to our paper will be 6b ■ per quarter in advance, or 7s pox* quarter if booked j 9s in advance if posted, and 10s if posted and booked.
