Tn following report on the produce markets •f Now Zealand is taken from the Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company's circular, dated 13th July, 1382. Wool. Since our last report, advices have been reeeived of the closing of the May-Juno series in London, at rates which will, doubtless, prove satisfactory to the growers of fine combing Merino clips. To the producers of crossbred fleeces, however, and the yet heavier types of Lincoln and Leicester wools, the announcement that these descriptions are neglected at a reduced value of fd to lid per lb., has caused considerable disappointment. The prospects for the next sales, commencing on August 24, are considered good, and a firm market is confidently anticipated, But these bright hopes may so easily be blighted by poutteal complications, that it is impossible to forecast with any degree of certainty the •ourae the market may take in the interval. Auckland. —Sales since our last have been of a few odd lots disposed of privately and do Mt afford a basis for quotations. Nafiib.— V,rv little business lias been done in this product during the last month, only small odd lots offering, but former rates may be said to have been maintained. UllßOaxs.—Some fifteen bales of fleece, lambs and pieces, hare boon sold during the month at from 4d to 7[d. SKKtriKiXI. Aucklaxd.— About usual supply has come forward, and Is to 4s fid has been realised. Nafixm.— Owing to the bad weather which prevailed about the middle of June, deliveries nave been considerably curtailed | but ell offered were cleared at an advance on the former quotations. Guaoutx.—A decided advance has taken place, butchers' finding ready sate at 2s lid to3s4d. lIIDXS. Avoklaxd.— All to hand have been taken by local tanners at late rates, vis., 3fd to 4jd. Gjsbobxb.— Fair average hides find ready market at 3fd to 3|d for export to Auckland. Tallow axd Fat. Aucklaxd— Odd lots have been sold at auction at 22s Cd to 23s fid, but for guaranteed parcels prices are fully 10s per cwt. higher. Napikb.— Tallow.—None offering, wo quote £34 per ton for mutton, but thia ia merely nominal. Guaouxa.—Good mixed is being bought up at £26 to £26 10s per ton. Gbaix. Nartaa.—Wheat and Oats i Very little business ia being done. For Oats 3a 6d to 4e could be obtained for bright feed samples, but there is no great demand. Nxlsox. —Barley : The market is bare, with no more to come forward for malting purposes. Malt: Good business is being done, aud rates last quoted are fully maintained, Hope: Stocks generally are fast reducing. It has transpired that late sales have been made on behalf of Dunedin houses, who have now secured nearly all in the market. Prices are hardening i for best quality we may now quote Is 7d to Is 9d.

Grabs Skeds. Cbrutchurch. —An early demand for spring sowing has led to the assumption that requirements will ba heavy, and rates accordingly high, but we believe that there will be no great variation in values. We have bbard of several transactions during the past week at 4s 6d to os 3d for ryegrass, accoraing to quality and dressing ; and at sd. to ssd. for cocksfoot. Some large parcels of the latter have been taken up at these prices. Dumedix. —Nothing doing. Gisborne. —But little trade passing. Two small parcels went south during the month at ba 6d f. o. b. A good demand is expected for Spring sowiug, and parcels of prime samples are held for 5s 9d to 6s f. o. b. O AM ABU.—Nothing doing, but the demand is likely to be large for spring sowing. Nabieb.— Cocksfoot: We repeat former quotations. Ryegrass : The demand is very limited, and the supply is quite equal to it. Miscellaneous. Auckland. —Hums and Bacon ; Prime smoked in equal quantities brings Bd. per lb. Butter : Prime suit in kegs is worth lOd. to lid.
