It has transpired that informal negotiations have been opened between the supporters of the Government and Mr Francis, with a view to an understanding being arrived at in regard to Budget proposals ; and an interview is known to have taken place between Mr Francis and Sir Bryan O’Loghlan with reference to the position of affairs.
