SOLE AGENTS FOR THE cc VtT © 37 •& 13. © IES3. ” SEWING MACHINES. AMONGST the many general and special improvements which will be referred to in connection with the Plates showing the different varieties of the WERTHEIM Machines, we may here draw attention to our—- “ PATENT LOOSE WINDING WHEEL.” In almost nil other Machines the Spool or Bobbin cannot, bo filled without running the Machine at the same time. This not only entails the removal of the work during the process of winding, but also necessitates the unthreading of the needle during the operation. The adaptation of ths “ Patent Loose Winding Wheel ” completely Overcomes alt. these Objections. By the mere turn of a screw the Winding Wheel becomes disconnected, and, revolvingalone, allows the operator to fill the Bobbin while the Machine itself remains at rest. This improvement lessens the wear aud tear of the Machine, facilitates its working, and bo saves the time, money, and temper of the public. Without going into further details at present, the few important advantages enumerated will done be cufficiont to make a dissriminating public fully alive to the superiority which the WERTHEIM Machines possess ever all other Sewing Machines.
