PORT OF POVERTY BAY. ARRIVALS. 12th June.—Rotomahana, s.s., from southern ports. Passengers : —Aire Barnard, Miss Williams, Miss Gunn, Miss Longdale, Sergt. Donnelly, Messrs Kirber, Goudy, Murray, Gunn, C. G. Andrew, T. Bowe, Beweu, \V. K. Chambers, Smith. 12ta June.—Southern Cross, s.s., from Auckland, with 27 tons cargo, and 5,200 feet of timber. DEPARTURES. 12th June.—Rotomahana, s.s., for Auckland. Passengers:—Miss J. Warner, Messrs J. Buurke, C. Ward, Brian, Smart, Davey, Pole, and 6 others. 12th June.—Southern Cross, s.s., for Napier and south. Passengers : —Mr and Mrs Craig, Messrs C. Henderson, E. Bousfiold, and Lance. The s.s. Oreti left Napier last night for this port and should arrive early this morning, with 30 tons of cargo • she is announced to leave for Auckland at 10 o’clock this morning. The Union Company’s splendid new steamer Mauapouri, Captain Logan, leaves Dunedin on Thursday next for Auckland via intermediate ports ; and will arrive here about this day week. The Union Company’s Southern Cross arrived in the Bay on Sunday afternoon lost, at 3 o’clock, from Auckland, with 27 tons of cargo, and 5,200 feet of timber ; she left the same evening for southern porta. The Rotomahana being detained in Napier did not arrive in the Bay till Monday morning ; she brought 25 tons cargo ; and left shortly after for Auckland, conveying paesengeis, mails, and cargo for Sydney to be transshipped at Auckland into the Arawata. The Ringarooma after waiting for some hours for a chance to laud her passengers and mails, left at midnight for Napier, as the weather did not show signs of improving • she transhipped her passengers and mails into the Rotomahana, which arrived here yesterday ; but the cargo for this port was carried on to Wellington.
