MR F. LAST, Surgeon and Dentist, be consulted at his residence—Mrs H. Adair’s — Bright-street, between the hours of 9 a.tu. and 5 p.m. daily. WS COOK COUNTY Furnishing Warehouse. SOLE AGENTS FOR THE “ Wertlie ixxi ” SEWING MACHINES. AMONGST the many general and special improvements which will be referred to in connection with the Plates showing the different varieties of the WERTHEIM Machines, wo may here draw attention to our—- “ PATENT LOOSE WINDING WHEEL.” In almost all other Machines the Spool or Bobbin cannot be filled without running the Machine at the same time. This not only entails the removal of the work during the process of winding, but also necessitates the unthreading of the needle during the operation. The adaptation of the “ Patent Loose Winding Wheel ” completely Overcomes all these Objections. By the mere turn of a screw the Winding Wheel becomes disconnected, and, revolving alone, allows the operator to fill the Bobbin while the Machine itself remains at rest. This improvement lessens the wear and tear of the Machine, facilitates its working, and so saves the time, money, and temper of the public. Without going into further details at present, the few important advantages enumerated will alone be sufficient to make a discriminating public fully alive to the superiority which the WERTHEIM Machines possess over all other Sewing Mac’nines.
