:O: The 8.8. Rosina will not leave for the Coast for a day or two, being engaged l-ghtering the Orcti. There were no signs of the steamer Oreti from Auckland, up to a late hour last night, but she may be expected early this morning. The Union Co.’s Rotorua will arrive from Melbourne via southern ports, on Sunday n.-xt, and will leave the same day for Auckland. The last boat leaves the wharf at 8 a.m. The schooner Endeavour, Captain J. Dick, was towed out of the river yesterday afternoon, at 4 o’clock, by the Rosina. She takes to Wellington 100 sacks wheat and 8 bales wool, shipped by Mr D. M. Orr. The Union Company’s steamer Albion, Captain Webster, is not expected from Auckland until Saturday afternoon next, and wi 1 leave the same evening for Melbourne by way of Napier, Wellington and southern ports. The Union Company’s Southern Cross, arrived in the Bay from the south, early on Tuesday last, with a small cargo, and no passengers. On account- of the rough state of the weather she did not get away for Auckland until yesterday t noon, taking with er a general <-ar"O, and one passenger, Mr Hughes.
