PEPA R TV RE V. sth May.—Ringaroonia, s.s., for Napier and South. Passengers :—Miss L. Gibson, Messrs IL T. Downes, E. A. Drury, C. Evans, and Hupara Mut-auku.
The schooner A taianta sailed for Mercury Bay on Thursday last.’ The s.s. Rosina will not leave for the Coast until Monday evening next; she was engaged lightering for the Oreti yesterday. The Minnie Hare, schooner, Capt. Nicholas, left the river on Thursday last, for the Mahia, from thence she will proceed to Auckland, via the Coast. The Union Company’s Rotomahana, Captain Underwood, is expected early to-morrow morning from Melbourne via Southern Ports. She will steam for Auckland the same day. The Union Steamship Company’s Southern Cross arrived from Auckland on Thursday last, with a general cargo, but no passengers. She sailed again the same day for the South, with a cargo of 43 bags grass seed, and 10 casks tallow. The Union Steamship Company’s Ringaroomo, Captain Edie, arrived tn harbor yesterday morning, from Auckland, with 35 tons general cargo. She took her departure the same evening, for Melbourne via the South. The s.s. Oreti, Captain Campbell, arrived in port from Wellington, yesterday, with 120 tons general cargo. She is expected to take her departure this morning, for Auckland, with 500 sheep, 12 bullocks, and 2 horses ; she also takes five passengers from Gisborne, and through passengers from South.
