PORT OF POVERTY BAY. Arrivals.—April. 14th —Arawata, s.s.. Captain Sinclair, from Auckland. :—Messrs Brassey, Gil>, Sinclair, and Arthur. Departs res.—Apbil. 14th.—Aiawata, Captain Sinclair, for Sjuthern Ports. Passengers: —Miss C. Webb, Mias Herdman, Mias Dowd, Mrs Craig, Mr and Mrs Smith, Messrs J. Glinn, Melane, Shelton, T. Blank, Wi lake. The 8.8. Oreti, Captain Campbell, arrived in port about three o’clock yesterday afternoon, with one female passenger, and some Natives. The s.s. Kosina, Captain Scott, arrived in port on Thursday night last, from the Coast. Passengers : —Doctor Franklin, Sergeant Bullen and prisoner. Cargo : —l6 bags grass seed, 3 cases tea, 3 cases jam, Common, Shelton and Co.; 34 bags gruss seed, Johnstone ; 1 case, Collett; 8 empty casks, Crawford ; 8 do., Johnstone : 12 empty jars, Graham and Co.; 5 cases fruit; 5 pigs, Sherrat; 1 saddle, Wilson. Bhe is expected to return in a day or two.

The Union Company’s Arawata, arrived from Auckland about 1 o’clock yesterday. Cargo :—5 bdls., 1 box, 4 eases, N. Z. Shipping Company ; 1 parcel, Taylor; 2 cases, Lewis ; 10 sacks oysters, Beveridge ; 1 sack oysters, DeCosta ; 21 parcels hardwood, Graham arm Co.; 5 trusses, 1 roll, Common, Shelton and Co.; 1 truss, Brown; 6 cases, Teat and Friar; 1 roll, 4 cases, Large and Townley ; 1 case, Moore ; 2 cases, 1 truss, 10 bags salt, Davis ; 1U kegs lead, 1 truss, W. Adair; 1 case, Colebrook ; 1 case, 1 pci., Brown ; 1 truss, 1 tin, 1 boiler, Parnell and Boylan ; 2 eases, D. M. Orr ; 5 cases, 1 gunny, Lewis ; 3 cases, 1 pel., East; 11 pckgs., Croll and Ingle ; 2 cases, Bullock ; 2 pkgs., Garrett Bros.: 1 pci., 11. Cooke ; 1 case, Davis Bros.; 36 felloes, 4 pair shafts, 50 spokes, 6 pieces timber, J. Somervell ; 2 < r ites, 2 casks, Judd ; 1 case, Adams; 1 parcel, Brown. The Arawata left again for Melbourne via Southern Ports, the same evening, with a cargo consisting of—l 3 bales wool, 4>U bags grass seed, 13 casks tallow, 13 pkgs.
