Pritchard, Esq. g First Race to start at 12 o’clock. 1— HANDICAP HURDLE RACK, of •-»* sovs. j two miles, over 8 flights of hurdles, 3ft. 6in.; top weight, list. 2— HACK HURDLE RACE, of — sovs , 1 mile ; for all horses that have not been trained from Ist November, 1881, to 24th February, 1882. 3 — MAIDEN PLATE, of — sovs. ; mile and half ; weight for age ; for all horses that have not won public money and the bona fide* property of owners residing in the Arai at least 3 months previous to the 17th of March 1882. 4— PAKIRIKIRI HANDICAP of — sovs. 2 miles ; top weight, lOst. ; open to all comers. 6—STATION RACE, for all horses owned on the Arai and Wharaekia Stations ; distance, 1 mile ; JOst. up. Ist Prize, Saddle (presented by Mr E. Devery), with half entries added, the other half entries to go to second horse ; sweep of 5s at the post to go to the third horse. 6— HACK RACE, of — sovs.; 1 mile ; for all horses that have not been trained from Ist November, 1881, to February 21th, 1882. 7— FORCED HANDICAP, of — sovs. ; 1£ miles; winners compulsory, losers optional. CONDITIONS : No owner or nominator shall be qualified to enter a horse unless both be subscribers of at least 10s to the race fund. Three horses to start for each race, or only half the stakes will be paid. All entries to include names, description and ages of horses, and colors of riders. Jockeys to ride in colors us described In entry, otherwise subject to a penalty of £l. The winner of any match run on the course to pay 20s towards the Club funds. Any hack being entered for Forced Handicap, the owner not being already qualified, will Lave to pay the qualification fee at the post. All moneys to be paid previous to starting. The Poverty Bay Turf Club Rules will be strictly adhered to. In all cases the decision of the Stewards shall be final. Nominations for Handicap Hurdles and Pakirikiri Handicap will be received by the Secretary, at the Roseland Hotel on Saturday March 11th, not later than 9 p.m. Acceptances and general entries at the same place and hour, on Wednesday, March 15th.
