Commercial.

SALE AT WAERENGA-A-HIKA.. The first •annual sale of pedigree horses was held at Waerenga-a-hika, on Thursday last. Mr M. 11. Smith acted as Knight of the Hammer. About 30 lots we*e submitted, but none of the rarehorßes were sold, except Roebuck (42 guineas) and-Hera (50 guineas). There was some brisk bidding for Foul Play, but he was withdrawn at 375 guineas. The show of draught horses was extremely.good,-and would not disgrace any district, while some very good hacks were also offered, but in this line there are plenty of sellers ard no'buyers. The auctioneer gave notice that he would treat privately after the sale, and it is not improbable that some of the pedigree horses will change Lands before the week is out.
