HANDICAP HURDLE RACE, distance 2 miles ; over 8 hurdles, 3ft Gin high, open to all comers. All entries for tins race to be sent to the Secretary, at the Ferry Hotel, by 9 p.m. of the 15th Feb., (or bear the Gisborne post mark of tb.e 13th Feb.,) enclosing ent ranee fee of £l. Handicaps to be declared on the 21st of February. MAIDEN PLATE, for horses in this district (Whangara to the East Cape), that have never won an adveitised race, of tb.e value of £lO ; horses to be the property of owners 3 months previous to the Ist of March ; distance miles ; entrance, 10s. PONY RACE, for ponies 14 hands and under ; open to all comers ; distance 1 mile ; post entrance 10s. UAW A STAKES, open to all comers ; welter weight for age ; distance 2 miles ; entrance £l. FLYING STAKES, for horses in this district only ; distance G furlongs ; entrance 10s. HACK RACE, for horses in this district only ; distance 1 mile ; post entrance 10s. FORCED HANDICAP, distance 2 milesj entrance £l. CONSOLATION, for all beaten horses at this Meeting ; distance 1{ miles ; post entrance 10s. CONDITIONS: First Race to start at 11 o’clock. No Owner or Nominator shall be qualified to enter a horse unless both be subscribers of at least One Guinea to the funds. The winner of any race run on the ground to pay 10s to the funds. All Entries to include names, description ami age of horses, and colors of riders. Jockeys to ride in colors described, otherwise subject to a penalty of £l. The Kidneys — Their Derangement and Cure. If these Pills be used according to the printed directions, and the Ointment rubbed over the region of the kidneys for at least, half an hour at bed time, as salt is forced into meat, it will penetrate the kidneys and correct the derangement. Should the affliction be stone orgravol, it is particularly recommended that the Ointment, in such eases, be used night and morning, as by its judicious application the most astounding cure may be performed. The 2s 9d size contains three, the -Is Gd size six the Ils size sixteen, the 22s size thirty-three, and the 33s size fifty-two times the quantity of als l|d Box or Pot. The smallest Box of Pills contains four dozen and the smallest Pot of Ointment one ounce. Full printed directions are affixed to each Bex and Pot, and can be had in any language even in Turkish, Arabic, Armenian, Persian, and Chinese 47
