Messrs. Oppenheimer and Co., the well-known Auckland firm of general merchants and manufacturers, have recently imported for sale one of the celebrated 32-inch Munson single g(*aread mill for grinding wheat or middlings. This sort of mill has been found to work admirably, and by its introduction lo this Colony cannot fail to supply a long-felt want in agricultural districts. The mechanical prin ci pies upon which Munson’s portable mills are constructed justly entitle them to the krst rank. The special features of excellence of which these mills consist of, as compared with others, lies in the. simplicity of their structure, the durability of the material employed, and while self-lubricating, never becomes clogged or choked under any speed. The rapidity with which they perforin the work of grinding wheat justly entitle them Io the consideration of the farming section of our community.

This extensive firm is also agent for the Sau Francisco blubber Paints, of which a sample may bo seen at our office. These pain Is are composed of the purest materials heretofore used by painters. By certain mixtures known only to the manufacturers, paints that prmliice a brilliant gloss, highly durable qualities, and wonderful elasticity arc prepared.
Their American Lubricator is a machine that is really a marvel of ingenuity, and while applicable to every description of engine and steam pumps, would be productive of great saving. It is stated on competent authority that this useful machine will pay for itself in fuel every two months, in oil every seven to ten months, and packing and labor every four months.
