PORT OF POVERTY BAY. The schooner Gisborne wi’.l sail for Auckland via the Coast, with a general cargo, this day, 23rd inst. On account nf not haring enough ra»-go the schooner Columbia did not leave for Napier on Tuesday last. The schooner Venus, Captain King, arrived in port early yesterday morning, with a cargo of timber from Napier. The s.a. Oreti, Captain Campbell, took her departure for Napier early on Tuesday morning. Passengers : —Mrs Metcalfe and family. The s.s. Rusina did not leave for the Coast on liiesday evening last, as announced, but •he is likely to take her departure to-night, taking with her 38 sheep and a general cargo. The Union Steamship Company’s Hero will ■arrive in the Bay from Auckland and Sydney, on Saturday afternoon next. She will steam for Melbourne via Southern Ports, the same evening. Last boat leaves wharf at 5 p.m. The Union Steamship Company’s Rctomahana, Captain Underwood, wiil arrive from Melbourne via Southern Ports, on Sunday morning next early, and will proceed to Auckland and Russell shortly after arrival. Last boat leaves the wharf at 8 a.m.
