Wanganui Distinct Handicap.—Wilberforce, Venturij Odd Trick, Rongoa, Satanella, Astronomer, Dan, Blue Gown, Taipo. Auckland, Feb. 4. The cricket match was resumed this morning, the All England Eleven continuing their innings, which closed for 214 runs. After lunch Auckland went to the wickets, and their innings closed for 94, only having the Englishmen three runs to get to win, which they made without loss of a wicket. It having been arranged that the Englishmen should play to time, an hour and twenty minutes, 90 rima were made, play being simply hitting nt everything.
