Mb. W. K. McLEAN Reports that the share market for the past ■week has been very fluctuating. South Pacific contributing shares have changed hands at Bs., 3s. 3d., 3«. 6d., and 3s. 9d., leaving off firm. Paid u{» have received less attention, but several small lota have been quitted at satisfactory rates. There was a good deal of activity in Southern Crosses at the commencement of'the week. Several lots have been placed ot 4a. 9d., 55., ss. 3d., sa. Gd., and ss. 9d., leaving off at 4s. to ss. A large block of shares in thia Company is now in the market, but in view of an early call of 3d. ]M»r share, buyers seem disposed to hold back. STATION PROPERTY. The Waikohu station, which was sold in December last to Mr. F. W. Williams, of Canterbury, lias again changed hands, the purchaser on this occasion being Mr. Allan McLean, late of the Tuki Tuki station, Hawke’s Bay.
Mb. J. B. Potntbr’b annual sale of rams ■was held at Bushmere, on Thursday last. The sale was well attended, and the bidding very fair. The sale consisted of 2-tooth Lincoln rams, first and second class. The following prices were realised :—
