Hutchison, Hiil, D. Heywood. G Heywood, and eight others. Cargo : 30 tons. Departures. —J akuart. B—Te8 —Te Anau, s.s., for Auckland. Passengers : —Mrs Phillips and two children, Messrs Bates, Loundee, V. G. Day, Mr Herman Krippner, G. R. Moore, and Master Arthur Woods. Cargo : 90 bags grrss seed, 74 bales wool, 19 hides, 10 cases, 1 truss. A HIT ZEALAND SHIP IN A STORM. The Dunedin Star publishes letters from passengers per the the Waitangi, from Port Chalmers to London, on the sth September. During the height of a gale the ship was etrack by several seas, which did a good deal uf damage. Ail the passengers were ordered to the stern cabin. Mrs Johnston and child, the only steerage passengers, were brought aft out of bed, but she persisted in going back for clothes. She had hardly done so when two cross seas broke on board, carrying away the house on deek with Mrs Johnston. The quarter-master and) second mate received injuries in trying to save them.
