The undersigned ha* received instructions from the Auckland Agricultural Company (late Maclean and Co.) to sell, at Penrose, without reserve, on Wednesday, January 25th, 1882, at noon, the following Pure-bred Pedigree Stock : — 150 SHEARLING LINCOLN RAMS 50 Shearling Leicester Rams 250 Shearling Lincoln Ewes 250 Shearling Leicester Ewes And, at the same time, will be offered 30 Pure-bred Hereford Pedigree Cows and Heifers. With reference to the above Stock, Messrs Maclean & Co.’s Flock has, for upwards of 30 years had an established reputation for purity of breed, they having started with and used Imported males and females selected from the very best flocks in England, and this remark equally applies to the Hereford*.
