Then went to Napier, where he was beaten by Never Miss by a head, New Chum carrying 21 lbs over, Never Miss beating Lady Grey and others. He then saddled for the Consolation, beating Wairarapa, Lady Grey, and Wide-a-wake. Terms : £3 ,3s each mare ; two or more mares the property of the same owner, as per agreement.
