The first wheeled vehicle from Tauranga to Ohinemuri passed through the Hikurangi Gorge on Tuesday last. It was taken through by the man iu charge of 2,000 Napier sheep consigned to Mr Alley, of Uikutaia.— Thames Advertiser.
