Pitt and Bennett, at Makaraka, on Wednesday next. —27 yearlings, 25 fat cattle, 10 steers, 4 milking cows. Bourke & Smith, at Waerenga-a-hika, on Monday, 26th inst., at 12 o’clock. —20 head prime beef, 25 heifers, 25 steers, 50 mixed stores and milking cows, and sundry lots. Meetings. The Directors in the Southern Cross Petroleum Company, on the 2nd and 4th Mondays in each month. Amusements. Fine Art and Industrial Exhibition in aid of the funds of the Public Libraiy, on Monday, 10th October.
