CABLEGRAMS.
Melbourne, August 31. A serious accident occurred this morning on the Melbourne railway. The tire of one of the wheels broke while the tram was proceeding between Richmond and Jolmont, when the engine and all the carriages left the rails ; some of the carriages capsized, and several passengers were injured, some of them seriously. Later intelligence says that four persons have been killed.
