We believe they are to take part in the forthcoming Spring Meeting in Hawke’s Bay.

Messrs. Bourke & Smith will hold their usual monthly cattle sale at Waerenga-a-hika on Monday next, and they announce several lots of prime beeves, heifers, steers, cows, &c., will be offered for competition.

The Rev. J. Me Ara will deliver the fourth lecture of the series on Free Thought and Christianity in St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Cnurch next Sabbath. Mr. McAra’s subject f>r that evening is to be “ What has the Bible done for the World or the Influence of Christianity.” These lectures hitherto have been-largely attended, and we liave no doubt the interest still continues.
