The Auckland Free Lance, thus apportions some of the portfolios in the new Ministry : — Johnny Sheehan — PostmasterGeneral (mails and females). F. J. Moss— Minister of Lands and Fisheries (especially sharks and wails). Reader Wood — Under Secretary for Forests, and Eel Ponds. Allan McDonald —Under Secretary for Sweeps, the Totalizator, with special powers for the Prevention of Foul Play. Seymour George—Under Secretary for Distressed Barmaids and Overworked Females Generally. Sir George Grey—Wetnurse to the Ministry, without portfolio. Dick Feltus — Drynurse to Sir George Grey. J. M. Shera —Assistant to Dick Feltus.
