LONDON SEED TRADE. Messrs. John Shaw & Sons of 37 Mark Lane, London, report through their agent, Mr. Leonard W. Blake, of Christchurch, that the market, during the fortnight ending June 3rd, was, as usual at this time of the year, extremely quiet, there have been only a few retail sales, caused by some welcome rains. The season closed with stocks all round unusually light. For sowing mustard aild rape seed there was more demand, the latter at an advance of 2s per qr. Canary seed was meeting with increased attention. Rye Grass was very scarce, the consumption having been very great during the past season.
