Candidates are beginning thus early to woo the affections of their constituents, or other electors. Mr. E. M. Edgecumbe, who has just left for England, has issued his address to the East Coast Electors, and which wilj appear in our columns on arrival of the next mail from Auckland. Mr. E. M. Edgecumbe, late proprietor of the Waikato Times, has left Hamilton, en route for England. Before departure the staff of the Waikato Times presented him with a handsome gold pencil-case, and an address referring to the kindness and courtesy they always received from him, and wishing him a safe and pleasant voyage home.
