COOK COUNTY COUNCIL. BY-LAW TO REGULATE WIDTH OF TIRE USED ON DRAY WHEELS. JVTOTICE is hereby given, that at a Special Meeting of this Council, held on the* 20th May, 1881. The following new By-law —to regulate width of tire used on Dray wheels—was adopted. A Special Meeting of the Council will be held on FRIDAY, Ist « July next, for the purpose of confirming the same :—• By-law 7. That Drays using a 3-inch tire, shall not be allowed to carry more than 25 cwt. Drays using a 4-inch tire shall not be allowed to carry more than 30 cwt. Drays using a 5-inch tire shall not be allowed to carry more than 35 cwt. Drays using a 6-inch tire shall not be allowed to carry more than 2 tons. Any Person committing a breach of this By-law, shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding Five Pounds. That this By-law, shall apply only to such roads, and at such times as the Council may .from time tp time direct. JOHN WARREN, 150 County Clerk.
