The following new By-lawH —to regulate width of tire used on Dray® wheels—was adopted. A Special Meeting® of the Council will be held on FRIDAY, Ist® July next, for the purpose of confirming the® same : —• By-law 7. That Drays using a 3-inch tire, not be allowed to carry more 25 cwt. Drays using a 4-inch tire shall not bi® allowed to carry more than 30 cwt® Drays using a 5-inch tire shall not b<® allowed to carry more than Cwt. Drays using a 6-inch tire shall not b® allowed to carry more than 2 tons. B Any Person committing a breach of thi® By-law, shall be liable to a penalt not exceeding Five Pounds.
