List of Exhibits: Class I—Paintings—Oil and Water—and Photographs. „ 2 —Flowers—Wax, Paper, Shell, Wool, Leather, &c. „ 3 —Pot Plants, Ferns, and Cut Flowers in Vases. „ 4 —Prints, Lithographs, Etchings, Drawings and Illuminations. „ s—Models of Ships, Houses, Bridges, Mechanical, &c. „ 6 —Fancy Carving, Inlaying, Turning and Staining. » 7 —Shells, Seaweed, Moss, and Pressed Ferns. „ B—Stuffed8 —Stuffed Animals, Birds, Fish, and Reptiles. „ 9—Fancy Needlework, Card work, Beedwork and Woolwork. n 10—Maori and Foreign Curios. „ 11—Antique Coins, Firearms, and Relics. „ 12—Kauri Gum and Greenstone Work, Jewellery, Watch and Clock Work. „ 13 —Botanical, Mineral, Zoological, Entomological specimens & fossils. » 14—Astronomical, Philosophical, Surgical, and Musical Instruments. „ 15 —Fancy Pottery, Antique and Modern China and Glassware. » 16 —Sewing Machines, Electroplated Ware, and Yankee notions. „ 17—Wool, Grain, and Seeds, (samples local production). » 18—Local Manufactures, (under supervision of Committee). First and seeond-class awards of merit will be given for the best, and best several articles exhibited. Intending exhibitors are requested to communicate to the Hon. COUNTY ELECTORAL ROLLS. FIIHE ELECTORAL ROLLS are now on view at the County Office, Gisborne, and severally at the following places :— Gisbobne Riding — Mr. Ball’s house, Matawhero. Abai Riding — Mr. G. L. Sunderland’s Patutahi. Waimata Riding—Mr. D. Doull’s house, Kaiti. Tologa Riding—Mr. W. W. Brown’s store. Waiapu Riding—Mr. W. F. Browne’s house, Open Bay.
Any person being aggrieved with any entry or omission of any matter in connection with the rolls, may, on or before the 31st of May next, apply for relief to the Resident Magistrate’s Court, nearest the place where the roll of the Riding is kept. JOHN WARREN, 1173 County Clerk.

TO SIIEEPFARMERS AND OTHERS INTERESTED. ~|Z|" AVING commenced Boiling Down at my Works, I beg to intimate that orders will be received up to May Ist, at which date the Boiling-Down Works will be closed. As existing engagement will be completed by that time, any fresh engagements entered into before the present staff is discharged may be made at present rates, subsequent engagements can only be made at increased rates.
