Pitt and Bennett announce that they willsell a light spring cart and a lot of soft goods, to-day ; and that their fortnightly cattle sales at Makaraka will be continued as heretofore. There is some hitch in the “ Tour of New’ Zealand” notappearingin. the last number of the Melbourne Leader. No. 9 has evidently miscarried. We would'remind our readers of the entertertainment to come off in Maefarlane’s Hall this evening. The performance is in aid of the Hospital Funds, and the prices are for the million. As wi'l be noticed from an advertisement in this issue, the Rev. J. M‘Arii will lecture in St. Andrew’s Church on Sabbath evening next, on the subject of Christianity and Freethought. By advertisement it will be seen that the Roseland Bakery is to let. As considerable alterations have been effected this should afford a capital opportunity for some one to step into what might be made a really good trade.
